COLORADO SPRINGS — At 1:25 p.m. the Home Depot on Academy Boulevard south of Platte due to an armed suspect who ran inside the store.

Colorado Springs Police tell News5 they were following a stolen vehicle when an armed suspect got out of the car and ran into the Home Depot.

The store was evacuated briefly as a precaution while police worked to get the suspect in custody.

CSPD has not released further details.
